This is a neat project, but the writing describing it feels very weird and stilted.

Back when I lived in Dallas, there was a live cam of bridge construction, so I did something similar (though much less engineered), and would upload the results to Youtube as well - I don't remember if I automated that part of the process, but I surely must have: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CLLiHgLr1I&sttick=0

My first thought was FOGBANK[0] - a material that was used in some US nuclear weapons that was lost to time, and reverse engineered.

Holy LLM, batman! The press kit, RSS feed, privacy policy and TOS links at the bottom of the page just redirect to the archive page, maybe get the LLM to remove them for you or actually generate a page?

There is a tiny mildly interesting story to the current link. I originally submitted the hackaday one but it got overlooked so hn gave it a second chance and when they did that it was switched to the fog bank one.

Switching to the original source is pretty understandable but it may have backfired in this case. It's currently 404 for me which might be an improvement if it was as bad as you say.

I'm not surprised that Justin Earl of Falcon Technix hasn't really advertised themselves on the page, I'm not sure I'd really want to put my full name on it either

And not even a little bit, every sentence, every "metric" it's dripping, nay, oozing out of my screen!

Indeed, it is tiresome to even look at!

Look what AI did to people.
